| 1. General conditions. |
| 1.1 | Championship is held according to the Rules of Sambo currently in force and FIAS Regulations. |
| 1.2 | Championship will be organized and held by European Union Sambo Association (EUSA) and Sambo Federation of Czech Republic. |
| 1.3 | Championship is held to popularize and develop sambo in Europe and in the World and to consolidate the International sports contacts. |
| 2. Date and Place. |
| 2.1 | Competition will take place from 23d to 25th of September, 2005 in the city of Milovice, Czech Republic, in the Sport Complex “Milten”,Sportovni str., Milovice (okr) Nymburk, Czech Republic |
| 2.2 | Registration of the arriving teams and credentials committee will take place from 11-00 a.m. till 10-00 p.m. on September 23d 2005 in the hotel “Maxmilian” Loucen c.p. 27, okr. | 3. Participation terms. |
| 3.1 | Sportsmen from National Sambo Federations of the countries from European Union and countries-candidates to EU can take part in the Competition. |
| 3.2 | Official staff of the delegations:
- manager – 1 person,
- coaches – 1 coach per 10 sportsmen,
- doctor – 1 person,
- not more than 76 sportsmen (men and women max 2 sportsmen in 9 weight categories and young men and women 1987-1989 max 2 sportsmen in 10 weight categories) |
Applications for participation should be sent to the Championship Organizing Committee
till latest September 1, 2005!
Each application must have the information about all the participants:
- surname and name as it is written in the foreign passport
- date of birth and number of the foreign passport
Preliminary Application is attached to the Regulations. |
| 4. Technical terms of Championships: |
| 4.1 | Competitions will be held on three carpets according to the FIAS Rules. |
| 4.2 | Each sportsman must have medical examination 3 days before leaving the home country for the competitions. The results have to be marked in the fighter’s license. |
| 4.3 | The Organizing Committee guarantees first aid to all members of sport delegations. |
| 4.4 | Team places are given according to the points collected in the individual classification. |
| 4.5 | All participants, coaches, referees, and representatives must have medical insurance. |
| 4.6 | Competitions will take place in the following weight categories:
Men – 52kg, 57kg, 62kg, 68kg, 74kg, 82kg, 90kg, 100kg, +100kg
Women – 48kg, 52kg, 56kg, 60kg, 64kg, 68kg, 72kg, 80kg, +80kg
Young men 87-89 – 48kg, 52kg, 56 kg, 60 kg, 65 kg, 70 kg, 75 kg, 81 kg, 87 kg, +87 kg
Young women 87-89 - 40kg, 44kg, 48kg, 52kg, 56kg, 60kg, 65kg, 70kg, 75kg, +75kg |
| 4.7 | All delegations should have an audio cassette/CD with the National anthem and 2 National flags 1x2m. |
| 5. Financial terms and accommodations. |
| 5.1 | All Championship participants are provided with accommodation and 3 meals per day |
| 5.2 | Manager of the delegation (1 pers), coach (1 pers), doctor (1 pers) and all the sportsmen mentioned in the preliminary application are provided with accommodation and full pension on the Organizer expenses. All the other members of the delegations not mentioned in the preliminary application and over this limit must pay to the Organizing Committee participation fee counting 40 Euro per person per day (3 meals a day plus accommodation plus transfer). |
| 5.3 | Managers of sport delegations have to fulfill all financial obligations with Organizing Committee on the arriving day and carry out all accreditation demands. |
6. Rewarding of winners.
Sportsmen won first three prize places will be rewarded with medals, diploma and valuable prizes.
If a sportsman does not fight due to the absence of other participants in his weight category he/she is not awarded and his team does not get any winning points. |
| 7. Official Ceremonies. |
| 7.1 | Participants will take part in the official ceremonies of the Championship. |
| 7.2 | National anthems and rising of National flags ceremonies are performed in the honour of the winners. |
