Victor Tatarkin
Victor Tatarkin was born on November 7th, 1958, in Kansk, Russia. He studied
in the Intermediate School #15, one year in the Kansk State College of Pedagogy
and three years in music school, studying tuba. He started training with the
first admission to the section of wrestling (coach N.F.Kohemazkin) in 1974 in Kansk, Krasnoyarsk Region.
In 1976 , Victor moved to the city of Krasnoyarsk where he worked in a television
factory. He trained Sambo in “Rassvet” gym with coach V.N. Bezrukov. He served
in the Sports Club of the Army (coaches A.B.Matveev / I.P.Kolodnikov) from 1977 to 1979 where he earned the rank of
a sergeant. From 1980 to 1986 he trained Sambo and Judo in "Dinamo" gym( Law Enforcement Ministry) with coach E.V.Agafonov.
In 1987 , he graduated from the Pedagogical University, School of Physical Education
and the Beginning Military Preparation where he earned the rank of a lieutenant.
Victor was invited to wrestle for the Estonia National Team by the Sports Commission
of the city of Tallinn, Estonia. Until 1992, he wrestled for the Estonia National
Team.
Since 1993 , Victor wrestles in Sambo and Judo for the New York State Team (USA).
American Amateur Sambo Federation - Member of Executive council board since year 2003.
Responsible for sport technical committee.
