Pan-American and American SAMBO Federations are extremely thankful for the financial support provided by FIAS in preparation of 2011 Pan-Am Open SAMBO Championship!
We are very grateful to FIAS and personally Mr. V.Shestakov for the financial support and appreciate their commitment to this annual Championship. The funding will assist us with the quality of the Championship as well as its marketing/publicity plans.

!!!Help Georgi Ognyanov!!!
Dear fellow Sambists, Help the recovery of Georgi Ognyanov, multiple time champion of Bulgaria in both sambo and judo. The athlete suffered a heavy injury during the 3rd place match-up in the World Student Championship in Prague in October 2010 and has been paralyzed ever since. In Prague Georgi was diagnosed with broken fifth cervical vertebrae and also damaged sixth on his spinal cord.
AASF has decided to donate $1 from every Athlete's registration received during the upcoming 2011 Pan-American Open SAMBO Championship. What about YOU?

!!!First time in the history of US Judo Tournaments!!!
Liberty Bell Judo Classic (E Level) International Tournament is presenting SAMBO. (April 10-11, 2010)
The presentation was held by members of the Russian SAMBO National Team. Demonstration of the Sport and Combat SAMBO was performed during the opening ceremony on both days of the tournament.
During the presentation participants were introduced to SAMBO throws, holddowns, arm and leg locks.
