SEA OPEN SAMBO CHAMPIONSHIP 2009 MAY TAKE PLACE IN MANILA (PHILIPPINES) |

Secretary General of ASF, Gerard Lim and SAMBO coach Ms. Melvynna Tambunan, visited Manila as guest of Mr. Michael Plata (outgoing President) and Mr. Raymond Nunieza (incoming President) of SAMBO Philippines from 30th April – 4th May 2008.
During their stay, the delegation was briefed on the current status of SAMBO in the Philippines and its short and mid term promotion plans. The delegation also had informal discussions with a number of Judo officials during their National Judo championship held at the Tutuban Mall and Mr. Stephen Khampuis of BJJ Philippines, organizer of the Pan Asian BJJ championship, held at the Mall of Asia...
